Part-Time - Floor Tech - University Academy School

City Wide Maintenance is growing and has immediate openings for Floor Technician. Floor Technician must have previous work experience and be knowledgeable regarding floor care, floor chemicals and floor equipment. Floaters must be willing to work at different locations each day/week based staffing needs. – must have reliable transportation. Under general supervision, the Lead Janitorial Floater performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings and supervise janitor/cleaners.

Shift Options – Monday - Friday (6pm-10pm)

Pay rate – $12.00 per hour bonus

Duties

Must be knowledgeable of proper care of commercial flooring, including appropriate usage of chemicals and cleaning equipment.

Cleaning offices, empty trash and replace liners, clean windows/windowsills.

Vacuum, dust/sweep and mop of floors and stairs.

Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms - ensure that facilities are sanitary and stocked for use by clients.

Maintain clean and orderly janitorial closets.

Will be required to walk stand, bend, reach, lift and repeat cleaning motions utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies. Lift up to 35 lbs.
