    Recruiter - Janitorial Contractor Manager

    Our company provides outsourced building maintenance services to commercial properties throughout the Greater St. Louis Metro. We are looking for the right person to help us RECRUIT and MANAGE our independent contractor pool. The independent contractor program is the cornerstone of our business and must be overseen by a high-energy, dedicated specialist focused on getting the job done.

    The best candidate will accept ownership for Independent Contractor recruitment and administrative management. In addition, this individual will explore opportunities to add value and efficiency to the operations department.

    Duties including, but not limited to:

    Independent Contractor (IC) Recruitment & Coordination: Recruit ICs and manage, in coordination with the Director of Operations, all aspects of the IC program within the company to include, but not limited to; recruitment, on-boarding, certification management, data base management, monthly payables and policy administration.

    Essential Functions:

    Recruit and Manage the company's growing Independent Contractor team.

    Work with the company Social Media manager to facilitate regular postings, email and social media marketing to recruit new prospective contractors

    Scheduling, execution and management of informational meetings

    Contractor follow up and relationship development

    Business analysis for the assessment and management of current contractor positions, account and territory distribution

    Manage the CRM contractor database

    Managing Contractor Relationships:

    On boarding of new contractors

    Contractor liaison for 6 months, assisting new providers thru first 6 months of service

    Contractor administration including providing written notices, reconciling discrepancies (provided by Operations Analyst), managing background checks and all insurance requirements

    Requirements:

    Recent college graduates encouraged to apply; 1-3 years related experience a plus

    Demonstrated ability to coordinate team activities and work effectively with operations and administration teams

    The ability to manage multiple projects

    An interest in a long-term role. We are a growing company and we like to hire people who can grow with us

    Compensation based on experience.

    Work Environment This job operates primarily in a clerical, office setting with occasional field visits for site walk throughs and recruiting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and calculators.

    Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing, walking and carrying is required. This would require the ability to lift files, walk to the mail box, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours.
