Part-time (evening) Lead Janitor Floater

City Wide Maintenance has been keeping Kansas City commercial properties looking their best for over 50 years, offering 20 building maintenance solutions from janitorial to window washing to floor care. We service 40 buildings throughout Kansas City.

City Wide Maintenance is growing and has immediate openings for Lead Janitorial Floaters. Floaters must be willing to work at different locations each day/week based staffing needs in the KC downtown area – must have reliable transportation. Under general supervision, the Lead Janitorial Floater performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings and supervise janitor/cleaners.

Shift Options – Mon-Fri, 6:00p – 10:00p

Pay rate – up to $13.00 per hour

Monthly Mileage reimbursement/allowance

Duties

Cleaning offices, empty trash and replace liners, clean windows/windowsills.

Vacuum, dust/sweep, and mop of floors and stairs.

Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms - ensure that facilities are sanitary and stocked for use by clients.

Maintain clean and orderly janitorial closets.

Supervising other janitor cleaners.

Must be flexible – schedules are subject to change.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old.

Must successfully pass a background check

Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace and be very detailed

Must have transportation and a valid driver’s license

Cleaning experience a plus

Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions

HS Diploma or GED

The physical requirements of this position include: walk stand, bend, reach, lift and repeat cleaning motions utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies, throughout the work shift. Lift up to 35 lbs
