We are seeking an individual who is tech savvy, friendly, detail oriented, a quick learner, has a great attitude and enjoys working with people. An ideal candidate enjoys working with computers. The Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for our staff and users.

Resolve questions, inventory, customer complaints and requests, which may include installing, maintaining and troublshooting applications including general usage assistance.

Essential Functions:

Participate in the installation, configuration, maintenance and integration of computer hardware, software, and networking systems/devices.

Maintain and troubleshoot typical desktop support areas.

Roll out new hardware to local and remote locations as needed – imaging and testing desktops and laptops, installing network printers, installing/replacing peripheral devices.

User provisioning/management in core City Wide software and networking systems.

Tracking, logging, and monitoring all technical issues in ticketing software.

Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer and user device related problems, such as user and/or program errors.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma

College Level (IT Course Completion (IS, MS, Coding Language, Networking, etc.) Preferred.

3-5 years hand on desktop/software support

Technical experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7 and above

Windows Server 2008.

Microsoft Office 2010 and above

Ability to troubleshoot network / local printer issues.

Ability to create documentation when necessary.
