    Night Manager

    City Wide Maintenance has been keeping Kansas City commercial properties looking their best for nearly 60 years, offering 20 building maintenance solutions from janitorial to window washing to floor care. We service more than 200 million sq. ft. a night throughout the Kansas City metro.

    City Wide Maintenance is growing and has an immediate opening for a Night Manager position. This position is will oversee building maintenance services for a variety of important client locations throughout Downtown KC, Independence, and Blue Springs. The Night Manager will be responsible for managing In-House employees, as well as communicating client expectations and priorities to Independent Contractors.

    Shift – Mon-Fri, 5:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. (Hours may vary)

    Full-Time Non-Exempt; $15.38 and Bonus Earning Potential

    Duties

    Work closely with the Facility Services Manager and Division Manager each day to review maintenance requirements and needs.

    Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems. Make recommendations of IC's for work assignments on assigned accounts.

    Supervise, train and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in maintenance services (ensuring – office spaces are cleaned and maintained to client’s satisfaction).

    Establish run schedules and employee responsibilities to meet shift requirements.

    Perform quality, service, and safety inspections – monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment.

    Report all complaints, concerns and commendations from clients.

    Other duties as assigned by the Division Manager and/or Facility Services Manager.

    Requirements

    HS Diploma or GED required, a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    3 years prior facilities or maintenance management experience.

    Proficient with Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

    Successfully pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

    Ability to listen to customer requests, work well with others and resolve problems effectively.

    Ability to communicate effectively (written/oral).

    Ability to lead and manage a team, holding them accountable to the performance and behavioral expectations.

    Will be required to stand, bend, reach, lift and repeat motions. Lift up to 50 lbs.
