    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are currently seeking skilled, motivated, ethical and safety-oriented Sheetmetal Journeyman. The Sheetmetal Journeyman must complete tasks in accordance with all mechanical codes, job specifications, plans and contract documents resulting in a complete and excellent working system. Qualified candidates must be able to install all types of commercial and residential HVAC equipment. Qualified candidates will also adhere to all Climate Control safety policy and procedures and work safely with all other individuals

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Install residential and commercial HVAC equipment and systems and ensure this is done up to local code standards
    • Gather equipment and part information and perform associated start up
    • Complete necessary paperwork: daily reports, timesheets, AWA's, and RFI's
    • Ability to read blue prints and other diagrams
    • Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used
    • Cooperate with other trades on the project to complete the project
    • Responsible for physical job site organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area.
    • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards. Ensure that all necessary inspections are made through all phases of work.
    • Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company equipment as well as monitoring the use and timely return of rented equipment.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this position

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school graduate or equivalent or tenured experience
    • Graduated from an approved HVACR program or equivalent experience
    • A minimum of 2-year residential/commercial HVACR Installation
    • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
    • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
    • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
    • Work in all types of weather.
    • Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
    • Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects
