    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are currently seeking skilled, motivated, ethical and safety-oriented Controls Installer. The Controls Installer has a degree in HVAC building automation or equivalent experience with knowledge in our industry and have the ability to property install heating and air conditioning equipment and associated controls in accordance with all mechanical codes, job specifications, plans and contract documents resulting in a complete and excellent working system.. Qualified candidates will also adhere to all Climate Control safety policy and procedures and work safely with all other individuals

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Low voltage HVAC wiring for new and existing homes and business
    • Install stand alone and DDC Controls systems for HVAC/R in residential and commercial applications
    • Installation of conduit, electrical raceways, cabling, and controls devices
    • Experience with wiring schematics and a firm working knowledge of electrical systems (AC/DC)
    • Commission of HVAC systems and ensure they are operating properly
    • Gather equipment and part information and perform associated start up
    • Complete necessary paperwork: daily reports, AWA's, and RFI's
    • Ability to read blueprints and other diagrams
    • Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used
    • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards.
    • Cooperate with other trades on the project to complete the project
    • Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this position

    REQUIREMENTS:

    High school graduate or equivalent or tenured experience

    Valid Driver's License and ability to be insurance on commercial insurance

    • Good Driving record

    Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.

    Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.

    Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.

    Work in all types of weather.

    Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.

    Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects

    PREFERRED:

    • Residential and/or commercial electrical installation experience
    • Previous HVAC controls wiring for low voltage wiring

    SALARY:

    • $20.00-$30.00+ D.O.E
