We are actively seeking Software Systems Engineer for our client in Bay Area, CA.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, Develop and Maintain modules and features of a Linux based big data analytics platform using open source technologies such as Python, Django, Spark, Postgres and ElasticSearch running on a Linux Server platform
• Develop REST APIs and Interfaces using Django, Apache and other similar technologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong Background in Linux Systems Development and Administration
• Strong Background in Application Development using Python, Django and related API development technologies
• Background in Big Data Infrastructure, Engineering and Development
• Experience in Python programming in a Linux environment is a must
• Knowledge of RDBMS such as Postgresql
• Experience with troubleshooting, debugging and solving Linux systems level issues
• Experience developing high performance and scalable code
