    PURPOSE

    Responsible for engaging new community partners interested in providing breast health services to their clients, initiating program-promotion strategies and delivering outreach and education resources to both insured and uninsured women in the defined service area. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • This position is responsible for engaging new community partners interested in providing breast health services to their clients, initiating program-promotion strategies and delivering outreach and education resources to both insured and uninsured women in the defined service area.

    • The navigator will work out of their home and will provide services and represent our client throughout the service area.

    • At least one year of experience in education and outreach is required.

    • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Access.

    • Excellent communication skills are required.

    • Prior experience in event planning, project management, and/or public relations

    • Familiarity with web conferencing a plus

    • Strong business acumen and staying cool under pressure

    • Natural problem solver, obsessed with finding appropriate solutions to meet customer needs

    • Able to multitask, and obsessed with customer satisfaction

    • Must be willing to travel (Compensated for mileage rate for all travel)

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience

    Required: 

    A two year Associate’s Degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

    One or more years related experience.

    One or more years in a customer-facing role.

    Preferred:

    One or more years as a healthcare events coordinator

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (REMOTE POSITION)
