    Job Description

    SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (ENCINO, CA) We are a fast paced insurance / healthcare organization that is currently seeking a System Administrator. Role: A system Administrator is the first point of contact for all of the company’s employees experiencing any type of technology related issues. It will provide support over the phone, in person, or via remote desktop according top the ticketing system. In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations. Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
    • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
    • Monitor trouble tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
    • Collaborate with other engineers and team members to build and maintain IT related systems
    • Document and log call issues
    • Document internal procedures
    • Assist with onboarding of new users
    • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
    • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
    • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software
    • Assign users and computers to proper groups
    • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

    Preferred Education:

    • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
    • IT field certifications such as A+ / Network+ /CCNA / MCA or equivalent training and experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience

    Requirements:

    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Knowledge of client hardware and software
    • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
    • Knowledge of Windows Office Products
    • General knowledge of trouble ticketing/tracking applications
    • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory Infrastructure
    • Knowledge of Avaya related phone/voicemail systems preferred
    • Initiative to take on projects and responsibilities
