    Job Description

    Our client, Leading Contemporary Apparel Brand, is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team in San Francisco! In this role, you will Monitor monthly, and full year marketing budgets to ensure teams are aligned to appropriate spend targets. The Primary function of this role is to own the invoicing. This will include following up with vendors and POs. The ideal candidate is very detailed orientated, you will be hitting the ground running with invoices. If this sounds like you, apply!

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communicate timelines to relevant parties to ensure deliverables are met
    • Perform monthly close reconciliation and provide variance explanations
    • Communicate Forecast and Close results to Marketing, Finance, and BRM Invoice processing
    • Validate all invoices prior to payment
    • Properly save down invoices and credit memos for any future audits or questions on invoices from vendors
    • Maintain detailed record of payment status on all invoices received Manage Vendor Communication
    • Point person to respond to payment inquiries from vendors
    • Follow up with Vendors to ensure all invoices are delivered in a timely manner Create Purchase Orders
    • Open Purchase orders to appropriate cost centers
    • Proactively track and communicate approval status with internal business partners and Leadership team Various Tasks
    • Assist with New Supplier Onboarding and Supplier Modification forms
    • Set up Prepaid expenses with internal BRM team
    • Gather daily spend in order to validate invoices and assist in Monthly Forecast/Close
    • Complete monthly GL reconciliation work during Monthly Close
    • Provide ad hoc analytical support and perform special projects as needed
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • 3-5 years Accounting experience
    • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners
    • Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
    • Ability to adapt to an ambiguous, fast paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; works well as a part of a team; able to interact with various management levels
    • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
    • Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial systems (Oracle Financial Systems desired)
