Job Description

Prominent Mobile, AL Law Practice is seeking a qualified Bankruptcy Attorney to head the bankruptcy division within our firm. Looking for a self-motivated individual, who is client-focused and attentive to detail. Must understand the legal proceedings surrounding bankruptcy, and manage all court petitions.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience actively practicing bankruptcy law
• AL Law License required (MS and FL licensure is a plus)

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Will provide Chapter 7 and 13 consultations
• Will assist clients with stopping foreclosures, repossessions, wage garnishments, harassing phone calls, etc...
• Will examine clients assets and debts to be repaid to ensure they qualify for bankruptcy
• Will attend all 341 meeting of creditors 
• Work closely with clients to provide financial freedoms
• Will attend all necessary court appearances
• Must be able to work independently 
• Occasional travel maybe required
