    CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

    OVERVIEW:

    Our client is seeking to fill CNA positions for various shifts in Maryland.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide clinical healthcare to assigned clients by assisting the patient with performing daily routine personal care activities:

    • Perform vitals such as blood pressure checks, temperature, pulse, etc.

    • Bathing: partial or complete sponge baths, tub baths and showers

    • Grooming: assist client with dressing, shampooing/drying/styling hair, filing/cleaning fingernails and toenails

    • Oral Hygiene: assist client with performing oral hygiene procedures such as brushing teeth, cleaning dentures, and caring for gums

    • Meals: assist client with preparing meals and feeding (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

    • Toileting: assist client with using a bed pan or commode; emptying colostomy bag; and Incontinence care

    • Transporting: assist with walking, transferring client from bed to wheelchair or chair, and carrying out prescribed exercise routines

    • Skin Care: assist bedridden clients with changing the bed; requiring the ability to turn and lift client

    • Medication: ensure accurate levels of prescribed meds are taken

    • Documenting all contact with clients including notes regarding the client’s progress

    EDUCATION:

    • 6 months of CNA experience

    • High School diploma or equivalent GED

    • Current/active Certified Nursing Assistant license in the State of Maryland or District of Columbia

    • CPR/AED and BLS Certification required

    SALARY:

    • $15.00 per hour

    SCHEDULE:

    • Shift - 12:00pm - 8:00pm (Flexible Days)
