PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN (PCT)

OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking to fill PCT positions for various shifts at a Healthcare facility in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide assistance to Physicians and Nurses for the care of patients. Routine assignments include:

• Monitor and record patient health and vital signs

• Perform EKG and phlebotomy procedures (including venipuncture, splinting and catheter care)

• Collect laboratory specimens

• Bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, transportation and medication assistance

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

• 12 months of PCT experience

• High School diploma or equivalent GED

• Current/active CPCT/A, NCPCT or AMCA license in the State of Maryland or District of Columbia

• Certification: Phlebotomy, CPR, and EKG
  

SALARY:

• $14.00 - 15.00 per hour
