    COMPANY PROFILE:

    HOLLY HUNT is a sales and service organization, as well as designer and maker of high-end interior design furniture, lighting, textiles, leather and rugs.  HOLLY HUNT’S “to the trade” customers are interior designers and architects.  85 to 90 percent of business revenue is generated from residential purchases, while 10 to 15 percent is generated from contract, corporate or hospitality purchases.

     

    POSITION PROFILE:

    The Financial Analyst will be part of the finance organization, supporting the company with financial analysis and strategic planning. Partnering with business leaders, this individual will analyze business trends, vet new business opportunities, and create recommendations for management.  This individual will also assist in the reporting and analysis function for the Finance and Accounting team.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide financial analysis support to senior leadership on business initiatives, new opportunities, and strategy.
    • Create and maintain forecasting and budgeting tools for all departments.
    • Assist the Sales and Operations teams on analysis, forecasting, and investment models which will be the foundation for key business decision making.
    • Develop and prepare financial models for analyzing results including key drivers and bridges for revenue, gross margin, profitability working capital, and capital projects.
    • Prepare recurring reports, executive level presentations and ad hoc requests with key insights to senior management.
    • Manage projects and deliverables including coordinating the budget deliverables with the management team.
    • Interpret accounting results, identify problems, research solutions, and make recommendations to management.
    • Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by manager, CFO and HH leadership team.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, 3 years of relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • A minimum of 2 years of directly related financial analysis experience in progressively responsible roles.

    • Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, organization, and ability to work with many different people.
    • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and changing priorities daily with high level of accuracy.
    • Comprehensive financial analysis skills that enable development and evaluation of business models.
    • Motivated and proactive self-starter with a sense of urgency and results oriented; promotes positive attitude
    • Ability to create and work in complex spreadsheets
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
