Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology and pulmonary endoscopy setting. Responsible for cleaning and routine care of scopes and equipment used in the endoscopy area.

Required Skills

3. Knowledge of supplies and equipment used in Endoscopy procedures.
4. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.

Required Experience

Work Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year of Endoscopy Technician experience is required.

License/Registration/Certification

Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) Certification preferred.
Current BLS card

Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
