    Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company supporting multiple technology development efforts, is searching for a talented Digital Systems Design Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Development Operation in its Cyber Solutions Group. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent technical skills drawing from several Electrical and Computer Engineering technical skillsets to perform research and development tasks in support of digital FPGA and ASIC design of secure computer microprocessor systems. The work will include collaboration with scientists, engineers and technicians to perform simulations, conduct day-to-day testing, analyze test results, and write and present test summary reports and scientific reports. Flexibility is a must, as our tasks include a wide variety of topics in support of our mission: digital electronic design; ASIC design and layout; FPGA design, prototyping, and testing; computer architecture and compiler design; and security practices and information assurance. Responsibilities will include documentation of progress, effective communication, and presentation of results and progress. Experience working with FPGA and ASIC design, verification, and prototyping will be a significant plus. The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree, or be currently enrolled in a graduate program, in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related area. The candidate must be capable of independent research and development. Exposure to discrete and integrated digital circuit design, SPICE simulation, VHDL, Verilog, and C++ is desired.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • GPA of 3.7
    • Knowledge of cryptanalysis/cryptography
    • Experience with VHDL, Verilog, and C++
    • Experience with ASIC layout and design
    • Experience with Tanner EDA tools
    • Experience with analog/mixed signal design
    • Self-motivated yet able to work well within a development team

    Required Skills

    • Possesses or pursuing bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related area
    • Minimum GPA of 3.2
    • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

    Required Experience

    • Demonstrated technical writing ability
    • Exposure to digital design, simulation, and testing
    • Exposure to FPGA design, development, and testing
    • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, and C++)
  • Qualifications
    • Possesses or pursuing bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related area
    • Minimum GPA of 3.2
    • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
