    We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator (based in Perth initially but will be based on site throughout the project) to join the commercial team within our engineering business unit on a bulk earthworks FIFO blue chip miner project to start with.

     

    With a diverse range of projects and clients and with work based both locally in Perth and across the North West, now is an ideal time to explore an opportunity with Georgiou.

     

    Your role will see you reporting into the Project Manager with the ongoing support of our regional Commercial Manager. You will be key in

     

    • Mitigating risk on the project offering accurate cost projections,
    • Ongoing budget reports,
    • Management of sub-contractor agreements,
    • Identifying along the way where we can improve cost efficiencies without compromising successful project outcomes.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    • Strong understanding and experience in a range of complex contracts ideally on projects in excess of $30 million
    • Must be able to demdata-blockedevente letter writing skills and solid understanding of contracts and contractual notices
    • Must have experience in subcontractor management including month end certification and progress claim management
    • Having worked on contracts with blue chip miners in the North West as a contractors is preferential however those able to display prior exposure to difficult contractual issues with other contractors will also be considered
    • Experience in Coins is an advantageous
    • Assertiveness in order to deal with subcontractor claims.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • 15 yrs. experience in Government Contracting with increasing levels of responsibility
    • 10 yrs. experience in managing P&L (Profit and Loss) activities
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of SBA’s 8(a) Program
    • Experience managing P&L in an ANC, Tribe or NHO preferred
    • Experience managing in one of more of Aleut Federals business lines consisting of IT Services, Environmental Remediation and associated Services, Facilities O&M and Construction
    • Thorough understanding of Financial reporting, budget development and execution.
    • Passion for Project Safety
    • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and Customers.
    • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Business Development
    • Previous Senior Leadership experience preferred.
    • Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements preferred
    • Currently holds or can easily obtain (and must maintain) a TS Clearance
    • Must have a multifaceted background with senior level responsibility in management and leadership positions to include technical management, project management and business development and contracting
