The 1ST SHIFT TRUCK DRIVER is responsible for safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer truck to deliver finished product to the customer in accordance with state laws. MONDAY - FRIDAY (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) FLEXIBILITY IN WEEKEND AND SHIFT WORK REQUIRED.

Required Skills

Responsibilities include:

• Load and unload trailer with finished products
• Verify count while truck is being unloaded at customer site
• Transport load by required route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Complete all required documentation necessary to deliver customer orders
• Complete required reports in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform daily timesheets and driver logs efficiently
• Report any maintenance, damage and/or safety concerns
• Additional duties as assigned

 The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Compliance with all DOT regulations
• Possess a valid driver’s license to drive a tractor trailer
• Ability to work independently and with little supervision

Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5+ years as a truck driver
• Flexibility in working overtime, weekends and shifts
• Ability to adhere to attendance, safety, quality, OSHA and GMP standards
• Ability to lift loads up to 35 pounds
• Compliance with DOT regulations and standards
