    POSITION PROFILE:

    The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. This position is primarily responsible for preparing and analyzing the monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting functions. This is including, but not limited to, corporate, monthly financial reporting for closing, forecasts, annual budgeting, planning processes, investor and internal meeting presentations, various trend analyses, financial bridges, variance explanations and ad-hoc reports and projects. Preference will be given to those candidates familiar with the manufacturing industry and foreign exchange analysis (FX).

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists with analyzing and distributing financial statements on a monthly basis and reporting on variances vs. plan, forecast and prior year
    • Prepares a monthly reporting package that compares and analyzes segments and business unit performance vs. plan, forecast and prior year
    • Prepares monthly and quarterly financial performance analytics, including but not limited to budget and forecast updates including sales, gross margin, operating expenses, operating profit, and EBITDA analyses which include driver comparison commentary, bridging changes, analyzing volume/price/mix, etc.
    • Assists in the consolidation and review of business unit annual budgets and develops reporting required to analyze the individual budget submissions
    • Develop financial models for planning, forecasting, and ad hoc decision support; including but not limited to profitability, return on investment, cash flow, working capital, scenario analysis, etc.
    • Performs working capital trend analyses
    • Assists with the preparation of PowerPoint materials used for executive management meetings
    • Prepares monthly fx analyses for various business units and segments
    • Prepares industry analyses and reporting requirements on a monthly and quarterly basis
    • Analyzes competitor financial results and assists with materials for investor relations activities
    • Performs research and analysis projects and support on an ad-hoc basis, and/or monthly as needed
    • Provides supporting documentation to internal and external audit teams
    • Comply with internal controls and policies

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • CPA and MBA is a plus.
    • Minimum five to seven years of progressive finance experience in an organization of appropriate scale and complexity.
    • Must have a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel, and experience creating and delivering power point presentations.
    • Knowledge of Oracle EBS and Hyperion Financial Management/Oracle FCC is a plus.
    • Experience with international operations. foreign exchange, and investor relations is a plus.
    • Ideal candidate will have a desire, willingness and ability to grow beyond the advertised role, and at the appropriate time move to another role within finance or the broader Knoll organization.
