  • Responsibilities

    Performs wide range of Diagnostic Imaging Services procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Serves as a point of care (POC) for labs performed at Urgent Care Clinic. Performs special procedures as required in the medical laboratory which may include, but not limited to, Glucose monitoring, ISTAT, HCG, Strep & Covid testing, hematology, special chemistry and may include urinalysis. Processing reference laboratory specimens and performing computer tasks as needed. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services.

    Required Experience

    Work Experience:

    • One year experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a hospital setting preferred.

    License/Registration/Certification:

    • Texas Certified Medical Radiological Technologist, M.R.T., C.P.R. certified. (New Graduates must be register eligible).
    • A.R.R.T. achieved or will attain within one year of hire

    Education and Training:

    • Graduate of accredited radiological technologist program.
