Systems Engineering Group, Inc. (SEG) has a job opening for a full-time 3D CAD Modeling Designer Engineer. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates wanting a challenging career with good growth opportunities. Responsibilities will include:
Developing and using cutting-edge tools and techniques to meet the growing demands of missile defense system requirement specifications, design activities and test/verification
Generating CAD solid, meshed, and facet models
Extracting and analyzing mass properties from solid models.

Required Skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION:
(5 -10+ years’ experience) with SolidWorks and/or Pro-E/CREO
Associate’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or equivalent experience to offset degree.
Experience with component design from the detail level through complete complex assemblies
Highly familiar with all standard manufacturing processes
Able to identify, select and integrate a wide range of materials into designs
Understand and apply fundamental stress analysis techniques to components
Hands-on experience using finite element analysis for system/component design
Experience with configuration management as it applies to engineering documentation
Ability to work independently or on a team
Demonstrated ability to communicate well through written documentation and oral presentations
ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE OR ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE.
