    JOB SUMMARY

    Monday through Friday (8am - 5pm)

    This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and maintaining the Organization’s EHS policies, procedures, and documentation. The primary objective is to keep the workplace safe for all personnel by leading initiatives, coordinating, and participating in training sessions, and monitoring EHS requirements to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Additionally, all safety related protocols will be monitored, and some maintained by this individual.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, which may be modified occasionally, will include the following:

    • Manage/update/audit Safety Data Sheets (SDS) at all US Locations in keeping with OSHA requirements.
    • Become fluent in State regulatory requirements by Branch Locations
    • Facilitate Quarterly Safety Committee meetings and report all activities to Global Sr. Director. This would include worksite accident reports with HR.
    • Assist with workplace accident investigations
    • Coordinate/schedule annual HazMat Spill response trainings for each Branch
    • Participate in New Hire Onboarding to present short Safety overview and GHS Video
    • Maintain and provide all US locations with Lock Out/Tag Out requirements annually
    • Review and update status of NJ Fire Extinguishers monthly
    • Review and replenish eye wash stations quarterly
    • Manage and replenish First Aid Station supplies monthly or as needed
    • Conduct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Audits quarterly
    • Maintain and work directly with Inventory/Logistics on Forklift safety, training, incidents, and precautionary maintenance as well as housekeeping
    • Conduct walk-thru audits of Production Department and related areas to ensure all solvents, cleaners, spray bottles are clearly labeled in accordance with OSHA guideline requirements.
    • Conduct safety audit walk-throughs in all non-Production related departments to monitor walkways and common areas for safety or hazard concerns
    • Review Recycling and waste disposal processes for effectiveness
    • Work with Maintenance Department to maintain third party and ISO records for Fire Alarms, Fire Suppression, Back-up Generators, and Heating/Cooling records.
    • Maintain current reports on all duties listed above.
    • Assisting with Fire and safety drills in Willingboro location
    • Update RIDL as needed
    • Other duties may be occasionally assigned.

    METRICS

    The following are required to be completed:

    • Complete all documentation reports based on Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual status as listed in Essential Responsibilities within 48 hours of respective time periods listed above.
    • Electronic record maintenance be kept current and accessible to HR and ISO Client Rep within times referenced above.
    • Prioritize and present monthly, quarterly, and annual activity plan and schedules to Global Sr. Engineering Manager by December 31 each year.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Not applicable. This position has no direct reports.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    It is essential that candidate possesses or can quickly acquire the necessary knowledge of the following systems which are crucial to the business:

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    • Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering or environmental sciences

    • 2-3 years work experience in an EHS role

    • General knowledge and experience in OSHA, EPA, DEP regulations

    • Technical knowledge a plus

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Frequent walking through Industrial Automation and Inventory based environments
    • Periods of sitting and typing
    • Lifting requirements include occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds

    • Occasional Travel (2-3 times per year) may be required

    EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    • Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
    • Quarterly Reviews – Employee will be given a brief written quarterly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity. Quarterly review will also include set objectives/requirements for the upcoming quarter.
    • Annual Reviews – A more detailed review of the overall performance in this position, where the employee is rated and typically compensated in accordance with that rate.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    This is an exempt position which requires a work schedule that will achieve the results and objectives identified by the company. Generally, the schedule for this position will be 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch. Nights and weekends may be worked at the Global Engineering Manager’s discretion based on current project and implementation needs, deadlines, and workload. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies.


    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The environment is an office setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in an office setting. All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times. Radwell Safety policies must be adhered to at all times.
