    Intern 102140 DCP Midstream is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern in our Denver office. This role will be responsible for creating and delivering content to advance the companys vision, goals and culture among internal and external audiences. This includes a variety of one-time and ongoing projects within the scope of public relations, media relations, internal communications, event planning, community/giving programming, and social media. DCP interns thrive in a fast-paced, high learning curve environment where the opportunity to make tangible impacts on our business is available daily. This role will support the Sr. Director of Public Affairs and is a paid position for undergraduate and graduate students working toward a degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, Marketing, Event Planning, or a related discipline. Careers at DCP are high impact roles that positively influence our daily operations, the communities within which we operate, and the energy and infrastructure business overall. _Job Responsibilities: _ * Work with the Public Affairs team and other stakeholders to build and deliver communications strategies and execute upon deliverables that fuel DCPs vision, goals, culture, and employment brand. * Develop community investment and outreach strategies to enhance and strengthen local partnerships. * Identify DCP company stories and develop and implement content for a variety of communication channels. * Develop in-depth understanding about the companys imperatives, innovations, expertise, and industry trends. * Enhance social media strategy and develop and implement ongoing content. * Participate in some after-hours assignments and events as needed. Qualifications: * Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, Marketing, Event Planning, a related discipline, or a recent graduate from a related field pursuing entry level experience in the communications or marketing fields. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * General understanding of corporate communications and public affairs functions within a business setting. * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment. * Enthusiastic team player that builds a positive, collaborative work environment and relationships. * Experience with digital and social media strategies and execution. * Ability to work as part of a team, independently, and with resourceful initiative. * Strong written and verbal communications skills. * Willingness to help on a variety of projects, with strong organization skills.
