Bay Area Motivate is seeking dedicated individuals to help with bike share station deployment and bicycle distribution throughout the Ford GoBike service area. Training will be provided to energetic candidates who possess a friendly team-player spirit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Help to lead the ground Deployment Team Members under the guidance of the Expansion Manager(s) and/or Deployment Coordinator; including station construction to designated configurations, assigning asks to Deployment Team Members, and serving as the designated street point person
• Interpret site permits and execute deployment to match station configuration as well as safety guidelines specified by traffic control permits
• Provide instruction to 3rd party contractors in the field as necessary
• Assist with warehouse duties, including receiving stations and bicycles, placing and organizing them in the warehouse
• Assemble bicycle sharing stations per training instructions and pre-established guidelines
• Assist with on-street bicycle sharing station deployments and final assembly
• Assist with quality control checks of incoming bicycles.
• Assist with bicycle distribution throughout the system.
• Represent Ford GoBike positively and share information about the program with the public as necessary during the course of executing duties in the field.
• Adhere to scheduled assignments and shifts
• Follow all required procedures and policies
• Assist in maintaining an OSHA compliant workplace, following any required work safety rules
• Work to help manage the inventory, organization, and cleanliness of the work space
• Maintain a positive relationship with all co-workers
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Experience driving trucks or large vans in city traffic
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Experience working as a team lead and is a good motivator
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Comfortable in a fast paced, warehouse/shop environment.
• Willingness and ability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
• Interpersonal skills - Maintain confidentiality, remain open to others' ideas and exhibit willingness to try new things.
• Dependability - Consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
• Ability to understand technical aspects of the software and the hardware capabilities and needs of a bike share system
• This position may require frequent or prolonged standing, sitting, driving, bicycling, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to report to work at the Ford GoBike varied locations, as needed.
