Potential assignments within the Corporate Disbursement internship include: - Assist with the administration or support for one or more accounts payable systems, business processes, or other functions within Corporate Disbursements, such as credit card programs or payment portal programs. - Perform various accounts payable duties which may include opening mail, scanning, indexing, invoice processing and assist vendor maintenance. - Assist in researching, reconciling and resolving problems with issued checks. - Participate in meetings with internal and external partners - Perform additional duties as requested or assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience - Candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of 2020 or 2021. - Minimum GPA of 3.0 either overall or within major - No experience in energy or related industries is required - Understanding of basic accounting principles - Ability to prioritize, process, and control large volumes of work quickly and accurately - Ability to analyze and resolve problems - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Solid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications especially Excel Education Requirements - Must be currently pursuing either an associates degree from a 2 year institution with the intention to immediately pursue a bachelor's degree from a 4 year institution, or currently pursuing of a bachelors degree from a 4 year institution in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics - Candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of 2020 or 2021. - Minimum GPA of 3.0 either overall or within major Working Conditions Test Description No Testing Required Export Control Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
