This full-time position is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Rock Island, Illinois.

Required Skills

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Assist in the set up and operation of industrial machinery in accordance with LQC’s established standards, processes and work instructions
• Assist with minor repairs to equipment
• Perform necessary pre-operation and/or shut down activities to ensure proper equipment operation
• Assist with product quality by conducting visual and tool measurement inspections
• Drive quality standards and operational efficiencies
• Follow all work safety policies, programs and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills such as typing, printing and data entry
• Basic math (addition, subtraction and fractions)
• Ability to read work instructions (i.e. SOP’s, Specs, etc.)
