    JOB SUMMARY

    Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

    Primary duties will include a wide range of hand-on activities related to the safe and efficient operation of our existing building and future facilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in the safe and efficient operation of all Radwell facilities and all of their operational components including but not limited to HVAC, security, electrical, Lighting, plumbing, landscaping, conveyor, fleet issues, Snow removal, Generators, Air compressors, Electric cars maintenance, fire protection, and safety systems. Radwell facilities consist of all company owned and operated physical facilities.
    • Assist in maintenance services and tasks, whether internal or outsourced, including but not limited to landscaping, janitorial, snow removal, waste management
    • Assist in ensuring the proper upkeep and usability of company assets including but not limited to company cars and trucks, forklifts, and other equipment
    • Assist in current and ongoing facilities and operations projects.
    • Understanding our company processes; suggesting and implementing operational improvements that aid efficiency; involving other company entities as needed (e.g. IT)
    • Assist in ongoing space requirement and office changes and additions
    • Assist in setting up equipment as necessary to support company infrastructure.
    • Must be responsible for your own basic tools.

    **KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED **

    • Understanding and ability to troubleshoot the physical components and systems in use in the facility including electrical systems, HVAC, landscaping and irrigation, fire protection, elevator, lighting systems, alarm systems, plumbing systems, appliances, furniture and fixtures, etc.
    • Knowledge and understanding of electricity, carpentry, plumbing and other related skills

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Some prior related technical and/or building experience

    • Daily lifting up to 50 pounds
    • Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
    • Walking, bending, climbing stairs, ladders

    EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    • Introductory -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue.
    • Quarterly Reviews – A quarterly written assessment will be issued which briefly describes the individual’s performance in this position.
    • Annual Reviews – A more detailed review of the overall performance in this position, where the employee is rated and typically compensated in accordance with that rate.
