    As the PLANT MANAGER with LIBERTY PLASTICS, you will oversee the entire plant operations and be responsible for the development and execution of strategy and initiatives that delivers a safe, productive, efficient operation that maintains high quality standards that results in customer satisfaction. 

    This full-time position reports directly to the VP OF OPERATIONS and is located at Liberty Plastics manufacturing plant in Baldwyn, Mississippi.

    Required Skills

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Plan, organize, direct and run the day to day operations to meet or exceed production demands and customer’s expectations
    • Maintain a commitment to plant safety policies and procedures
    • Allocate resources to efficiently optimize facility utilization
    • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction, understanding and focus to all team members
    • Monitor operations to identify problems and constraints and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Develop and manage facility budget and maintain accountability for P&L
    • Work to develop and improve direct reports performance through constructive coaching, training and performance management
    • Collect and analyze data to eliminate waste
    • Develop and utilize systems and processes that track and optimize productivity standards, metrics and performance targets
    • Evaluate and initiate process for capital expenditures for the facility
    • Implementation of a continuous improvement processes, including a Quality Management System using tools such as found in ISO and lean processes

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of skill and experience
    • A minimum of 10+ years of combined experience in manufacturing management required
    • Experience in plastics extrusion, preferred but not required
    • Must have demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence initiatives and ability to implement
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact and communicate (both verbally and in writing) with executive leadership as well as plant personnel
    • Ability to develop and maintain positive employee relations and drive employee engagement
    • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results and accountability
    • Proficient with the use of computer-based tools MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to participate in cross-functional initiatives both with executive leadership and plant personnel
    • Self-driven, focused with strong time management skills
