As a Finance Specialist for Outreach, you will have a direct hand in meticulously stewarding the funds that our church gives to our Outreach Partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end support for Outreach Partner giving, from the preparation of giving documents to the recording of approvals and execution of payment transfers
- Maintain the Outreach Partner database and historical giving
- Weekly, monthly, and annual reporting of various elements of Outreach spending
- Work with the Central Benevolence Director to provide a financial structure and system for disbursement of benevolence funds
- Serve as backup for all Accounts Payable functions
MUST-HAVES
- Degree in Accounting with 2+ years of directly-related experience
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Love working on a team as much as you love working with the numbers
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Non-profit accounting experience
- Sage Intacct experience
- Salesforce experience
