PURPOSE Explore the intersection of sustainability and engineering as you learn about the design, construction, and maintenance of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Over the duration of the internship, interns will gain hands-on, real world experience and hone career skills through direct experience in energy assessment and management, energy conservation measure design, and project management. Interns will supplement their learning through self-paced online modules that will reinforce necessary skills and knowledge in energy analysis. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Participate in field days with ENGIE staff both in the office as well as at project sites * Provide project and administrative support * Engage in weekly check-in with ENGIE staff (in person or via phone) * Collaborate and shadow ENGIE staff engaged in fields including energy analysis, project management, project development and communications * Other duties as assigned by Manager REQUIREMENTS * Current enrolled student at Ohio State University * Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Strong time management skills * U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required. * Must be 18 years or older * Must have a reliable mode of transportation to travel to and from office location, client sites and construction sites.
