    Research Intern Spring/Summer 2018 Washington, DC The Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) is seeking a spring/summer Research Intern to advance Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and other environmental protections at the federal, state, and local levels. The Research Intern will assist EIPs analysts, attorneys, and communications staff in reviewing responses to freedom of information act requests, entering data, conducting internet searches, and carrying out related tasks as needed. The research intern will primarily assist with EIPs EPA Watch and Coal campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, highly-organized, and detail-oriented individual with a demonstrated passion for the environment. This position is available immediately. Qualifications: Rising undergraduate junior or senior, or current masters candidate, pursuing a degree in political science, environmental sciences, communications, or a related field; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel; Able to work independently and with a team while managing and prioritizing multiple assignments; Knowledge of environmental concerns stemming from coal ash disposal, factory farming, and the oil and gas industry, and an interest in environmental politics are a plus.
