Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: * Support HR in assisting employees, supervisors and managers with HR operational issues * Provide transactional support of employee and organizational changes * Uses policies and guidelines to coordinate Human Resources related projects * Maintain and update HR Records and ensure all filing of documents is accurate and timely * Compile and provide data to management regarding vacancies, turnover, exit interview and other statistics as needed * Assist HR Manager with project-related tasks and perform other duties as assigned * Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in services Ideal Intern: * Coursework, knowledge or experience in Human Resources * A strong interest in a career in Human Resources * Strong Professional Presence * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to multi-task, remain organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Good follow-through skills * Ability to work with limited supervision * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) * Experience in an office environment preferred ** ** This internship is located at ComEds headquarters in Chicago, IL however the position requires the ability to commute between our Chicago office and Oakbrook campus.
