    POSITION PROFILE

    This is an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Finance Architect/Business Analyst to play a role in a Global Oracle implementation. The candidate will be able to:

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with business owners and executives to set direction and strategy for IT projects
    • Implement Oracle Financials, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, G/L, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, Treasury, and costing
    • Define systems strategy; develop systems requirements; design, prototype, configure test, and define support procedures
    • Implement practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.

    This role will also be able to: perform analysis, create a design and present that design to the leadership team, problem solve, test, and implement solutions which complement the Oracle Applications suite, under multiple deadlines.

     

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as the Knoll Oracle EBS Finance and Cost lead, responsible for capturing requirements and delivering practical solutions.
    • Understand and get involved with production related issues and enhancements to provide a unified future-state solution.
    • Provide guidance and expertise for the overall end-to-end solution of the implementation of Oracle EBS Applications and advise best practices.
    • Researches, troubleshoots and resolves Oracle Applications issues working with Oracle support (On-Line and technicians) and Knoll team members.
    • Collaborate with the Knoll leadership team to understand business initiatives, business KPI’s and align on projects that bring value to the business.
    • Solution design by re-engineering the process OR formulating a new process (i.e. Business Process and System Process) in collaboration with business users.
    • Evaluate solutions and options outside of Oracle, evaluate new technologies that can be implemented.
    • Ability and willingness to learn in-house tools, both new and legacy.
    • Responsible for other special projects as needed.

     

    Required Skills

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Business or Engineering.

    • Evaluating and implementing Oracle Financials, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Reporting, Consolidation, Intercompany, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Fixed Assets for Manufacturing industries, Cost module experience is a plus.

    • Defining and developing the functional scope and strategy for the design, conducting design review sessions, configuration, testing, and support for the implementation of Oracle e-business suite

    • Gathering requirements, writing functional specifications (RICEW), application configuration and coordinating implementation of projects and system changes for all Oracle Financial applications

    • Familiarity with integration with other related applications such as (card-connect, vertex, etc.)

    • Managing projects using established procedures pertaining to Program Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

    • Researching, troubleshooting, and resolving Oracle Applications issues (product related) working with Oracle support (on-line and technicians) and team members (business users and IT)

    • Supporting the end-to-end financial process in Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) R12 as well as using EBS Financials and subledger accounting

    • Designing, testing, and implementing Oracle application extensions, interfaces, and data conversions

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    10+ years as Oracle Finance and Cost architect with minimum 3 Full Lifecycle Oracle ERP implementations.

    Deep experience of the Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) R12

    Experience providing guidance to the PMO and Architecture teams by assisting in planning and design development

    Experience Developing the following enterprise-wide artifacts:

    • Architectural blueprints
    • End to end Integration diagrams
    • High Level Designs (HLD’s)
    • Reporting architecture

    Technical and Functional expertise using: Oracle Supply chain modules, Order Management, and Financials

    Skilled in creating, monitoring, and managing concurrent programs, AME workflows, API's and Open Interface processing.  

    Use SQL*Developer, TOAD and/or SQL *

    Experience with Oracle Configurator, Order Management, MSCA and iSupplier modules is a plus.
