Responsibilities: • Deliver a high level of customer service when resolving billing, policy change, coverage, and claims issues • Compose tailored policy options, quotes, and educational materials to prospective and existing insurance clients • Employ creative networking and sales strategies to generate leads that convert prospective clients into new clients • Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases • Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary Qualifications: • A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits • Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines • Must hold a valid, state-issued insurance license(s): Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License • A high school diploma is required - a bachelor's degree or comparable insurance industry experience is a must • Proficiency in Microsoft Office mandatory; proficiency in agency management systems preferred Compensation: $100,000+ at plan earnings
