The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Responsibilities: • Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish • Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty • Set meetings with new and potential clients to listen to their needs, taking into account their financial statuses and stage-of-life priorities, and present insurance plan options tailored to their individual circumstances • Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders • Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual profiles Qualifications: • Superb analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to succeed in this role • Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office programs • Candidates must have an insurance license • Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations • High school diploma mandatory; four-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 yearly
