About the Opportunity This is an open position with Mon Power, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.[MP] This job is responsible for the joint use work for the Distribution function of the Company. -PROFICIENCY (Level I): Employees are in a learning curve with minimal experience, acquiring new skills and basic discipline-specific knowledge; requires direct supervision and assistance. I Level -Demonstrate and direct a solid commitment to all aspects of safety. -Initiate and process invoices in SAP. -Monitor unpaid invoices and place collection calls to past due Joint Use customers. -Perform data analysis and calculations to ensure accurate invoicing for monthly cable and phone companies. -Assist in determining rental and Make Ready cost allocations. -Follow established guidelines when reviewing requests to attach any type of decorations to OpCo poles. -Assist with preparing Joint Use Recapitulation documentation and transmittals that conform to Joint Use Agreements and schedules. -Process joint use proposals transmitted to and from foreign companies and customers through the Joint Use Proposal specialized processes and automated notification system. -Assist line shops with escalation of priority work with various foreign utilities. -Communicate requirements and expectations to applicants to ensure policies are followed. -Assist in the interpretation and evaluation of data received from applicants and initiate DFUR notifications for Make Ready work when necessary. -Gain an understanding of company practices, Joint Use contracts and operating agreements for new and existing communications attachments. This may include rentals, net billing, Make Ready applications, internal and customer construction requests requiring billing, and other non-communication company attachments requests. -Assist in the input of attachment information into GIS (Mpat) for recording keeping and billing purposes.* -Ensure records, contracts, applications, permits, are entered into Filenet Corporate Records database.
