The Spanish Translator (30 Hour a week) position exists to translate and proofread media scripts and print products from English to Spanish. Performs highly complex duties needed to provide effective and efficient translation. Requires only general direction and works independently; refers unusual or complex problems to supervisor. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Translates articles, documents, and peripheral material from English to Spanish and QCs Spanish translations Organizes and coordinates closed captioning and syndication of Spanish TV Commentary Proofreads and edits Spanish transcripts, scripts, articles and booklets Gathers, organizes, and manages translation for monthly Channel Page articles and content Reviews Spanish resources and adds new titles to FOF Store Oversees the recording of Spanish scripts, monitoring for correct grammar, pronunciation, and enunciation Creates new Spanish resources, article descriptions, and scripting for Spanish media and written product Monitors the workflow and prioritization for translation Other Duties/Responsibilities: Performs other duties as necessary Working Environment/Physical Requirements: Office/studio environment JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Character/Spiritual: Exemplifies Ephesians 5:1-2, Therefore be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us...
