    POSITION PROFILE

     

    Perform a variety of duties such as developing costing assumptions to ensure accurate product costs and inventory valuation, investigate, analyze, and interpret cost variances and communicate insight to site finance leadership. Must be willing to cross-train in various areas of the department as required.

    Required Skills

     

    Accountability:

    • Prepare and analyze product standard costs
    • Perform audits related to the Inventory and Fixed Assets controls
    • Perform the analysis of the standard costs and inventory transactions
    • Support the finance team with the data gathering and analysis on as needed basis
    • Support the month end close and analytics for the inventory/ costing/ OPEX
    • Prepare and book Journal Entries
    • Provide support on monthly reconciliations
    • Provide support for the weekly, monthly and annual projections
    • Perform other duties as required

     

    Required Experience

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting discipline (or related experience) is required
    • CGA, CMA, CPA or in process (or Minimum of 2 years cost accounting/analysis experience)

     

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT 

    1. Experience within a manufacturing standard costing environment
    2. Strong technical skills
    • Hands on experience with the ERP systems (Oracle EBS and/ or JDE preferred)
    • Intermediate Excel skills
    • Ability to manage large volumes of data
    1. Strong communication skills
    2. Ability to problem solve in a dynamic high transaction environment
