and other departments Position responsibilities * Assemble product with
the aid of in-house training, work instructions and assembly prints. *
Position will also require the flexibility to perform and monitor on
occasion, testing of assemblies or assemblies used in the final product.
- Safely operate hand tools provided while assembling product. * Be able
to understand verbal and written instructions in English. * Perform
daily housekeeping in and around the work area. * Inspect work once
completed to ensure quality. This position will be part of a team that
will produce assembled product for Geospace and ensure the highest yield
possible through: * Continual improvement measures * Setting achievable
and measurable goals * Teamwork (no one can do everything by themselves)
Qualifications * Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing
environment is required. * Must be able to communicate in English, to
give and receive written and verbal instructions. * High School Diploma
or equivalent. Manufacturing environment. Moderate physical activity
required which will include the use of pallet jacks, long periods of
standing and picking up assembly components or containers weighing up to
