Location: Camp Holloway
Health Officers are the heart of summer camp. They know our campers and staff, monitor their wellness and health aside from what we can always see. Health Officers can expect to do the typical things: administer all medications, communicate with parents, maintain health records and handle all medical concerns. They can also expect to be a listening ear, triage homesickness, and encourage our campers to try new things. Health Officers don’t just stay in the health office! We invite them to explore, connect with our children at their activity locations and, be the face of health and self-care at camp.
We are proud to create an inclusive community of campers and staff who come from diverse backgrounds and value each other. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging at camp, to build confidence among our campers, and to support our staff in reaching their eventual career goals while supporting the Girl Scouts mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
