    Job Overview

    This announcement will be accepting applications until Midnight (EST) on 16 August 2024!

    As the lead technical advisor, you’ll spearhead HR information data automation and reporting within the Directorate of Personnel. Your mission? To harness cutting-edge technology, collaborate with stakeholders, and revolutionize automated Human Resources processes across the Laboratory. You’ll create complex logic, streamline data products, and provide authoritative guidance to senior leadership. Your impact will be felt across the Center as you transform HR solutions, enable data-driven decision-making, and increase efficiency in HR processes across the Center.

    Position duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Lead the integration of human resource management business processes with Department of the Air Force automated systems through application and development of complex, unique automated logic and scripts that are used for complex data reports, forms, and programs.
    • Establish new procedures for the implementation of new concepts that require in-depth analysis and problem-solving to best streamline data products.
    • Utilizes sensitive personnel data in the design and execution of complex, major developmental studies.
    • Provides authoritative guidance, advice, and policy interpretation to high level management officials, program managers, and other HR specialists across the Center on developing solutions to complex problems.

    Required Qualifications

    • United States Citizenship
    • Males must be registered for Select Service, see www.sss.gov.
    • Must be able to meet the occupational series requirements for the 201 Series: Human Resources Management Series 0201 (opm.gov)
    • Must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level -- DO/DR-II, GS-13, NH-III, etc. -- in the Federal system
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience with Human Resources process automation using standard Department of the Air Force systems
    • Experience working in Department of the Air Force Human Resources data systems (e.g., DCPDS, CHRIS, Business Objects, etc.)
    • Knowledge of AFRL's Lab Demo personnel system
