The Integrated Development Office (IDO) seeks to hire an NH-03 Information Technology Management (GS-2210) professional at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. This position will provide direct support for enterprise-level information systems across unclassified and classified domains.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a local administrator for enterprise-level information systems (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, CV2, etc.), ensuring IDO users have secure and reliable access to mission-critical networks.
- Provide system administration support for enterprise services (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange, collaboration platforms) across multiple classification levels.
- Collaborate with external owning to troubleshoot access, resolve issues, and escalate enterprise-wide problems.
- Manage account provisioning, permissions, and access controls for IDO personnel in accordance with DoD and DAF cybersecurity policies.
- Monitor system performance and identify and resolve anomalies.
- Support IDO’s cybersecurity posture by adhering to Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and ensuring compliance with DoD directives.
- Maintain and update IT Asset Management System (ITAMS) records for local assets, ensuring accuracy of inventory and alignment with enterprise reporting requirements.
- Serve as the Unit Software License Manager (USLM), overseeing license procurement, allocation, renewal, and compliance with DoD and Air Force software management policies.
- Provide technical expertise to integrate enterprise IT services into IDO’s digital engineering and mission engineering workflows.
- Track emerging technologies, tools, and standards to recommend innovative solutions that improve performance, resilience, and security.
Air Force Materiel Command Integrated Development Office (AFMC IDO) is a new organization, encompassing mission engineering, concept development, and planning for development. The IDO will work with the Systems Centers and AFRL to ensure continuous pipelines of competitive technology development, and with the Program Executive Officers (PEOs) to structure execution-ready Programs-of-Record for transition to, and management by, the PEOs and Program Offices within the AFMC Systems Centers.
The IDO will be responsible for defining and overseeing early systems acquisition prototyping, experimentation, and mission engineering; executing enterprise-focused and integrated early systems engineering and systems acquisition; and applying the technical architectures developed and managed by the three Systems Centers.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade DR/DO-01/GS-12 for NH-03(or equivalent in other pay systems).
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance; SAP access eligibility.
- The incumbent may be subject to random drug testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with DoD or Intelligence Community network operations.
- Knowledge of account management, access control, and Active Directory.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues collaboratively with enterprise service providers.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications (preferred): Sec+ or similar
- Experience distilling strategic and/or leadership guidance into actionable plans in support of program objectives.
- Familiarity with Air Force or DoD enterprise IT service structures (e.g., CS squadrons, DISA).
- Experience with COMSEC accountability, ITAMS reporting, or USLM duties.
- Experience working with cross-domain or multi-level security environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
