GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Product Implementation Manager will manage the product implementations and winddowns for the bank’s issuing and acquiring sponsorship activities. Ideal candidates will have experience in payments and product development and/or project management. This position will be responsible for execution of complex projects bringing new products and services to market in collaboration with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Product Managers in early/business development stage to understand product requirements and project scope.
- Play key role in driving product design to conform with bank requirements and meet client expectations.
- Gather requirements and expectations from multidisciplinary group of internal stakeholders to assist during the product development stage.
- Develop and execute project plans for new product implementations or modifications, as well as product wind-down projects.
- Collaborate with the bank’s Project Management Office in executing business unit’s project plans in accordance with established bank policies and procedures.
- Manage projects to internal and external expectations for timelines, deliverables, and work quality.
- Act as primary point of contact with key technical and support vendors, often extending beyond the project lifecycle.
- Other projects such as procedural documentation, policy review and updates, process improvement initiatives, and those assigned by business unit manager.
Required Skills
- Five or more years product implementation, product development, project management, or related experience, preferably in payments, banking, financial services or fintech
- BA or BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or other similar field
