Primary Responsibilities Assemble data and assist with problem-solving requiring basic theories and engineering fundamentals Utilize computer programs to solve engineering problems Assist with layout and design of various engineering projects, specifically design and compliance reviews for ADA/Pedestrian Accessibility and Small Cell Wireless facility permitting Provide consistency and design/constructability reviews and mark-ups, includes drafting client correspondence and maintaining accurate and current project documentation Required Skills Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Participation in a team-based management style Required Experience Full time student at the Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate level pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or closely related course of study Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment and in the field. Office Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work may involve inspections of installed telecommunications equipment or pedestrian features in the Public Right-of-Way; so individual must be safety conscious and aware of traffic safety practices for pedestrians . Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
