We are looking for an intern to work with us on a variety of projects. The intern responsibilities include:

• Drafts basic blog post materials including social media updates, news releases, media alerts, fact sheets, status reports and other materials as directed.
• Attends and participates in​ ​team meetings and brainstorming sessions as directed.
• Research​ ​
• Other administrative duties as seen fit

The intern will be mentored by Christina Rasmussen, founder and CEO of Second Firsts, The Life Starters, Life Reentry Certification Training and Star Letters.

The intern will also work closely with Danielle Nelson, Christina's​ ​project manager. Danielle will help the intern prioritize tasks and focus on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Media, Communications, Journalism interns will be actively enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a university Media, Communications, Journalism or other related programs.

Current students will preferably have at least sophomore standing.

The individual must demonstrate the ability to undertake​ ​Science, Space, Spirituality writing assignments, and possesses an understanding of basic​ ​science, an ability to interact professionally, and good judgment.

A working knowledge of computers, as well as word processing and database management software is necessary.
