    Intern - Proposal Coordinator Location: CA - Sacramento Job Code: 1303 Number of Openings: 1 Description Primary Function The INTERN Proposal Coordinator researches, organizes and assists department with requests for proposals and qualifications and responsibilities as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities Assist department in recording of all relevant project, employee resume and client information in Deltek. Researches, gathers and coordinates information. Assist with edits and proofreads responses to requests for proposals and qualifications to ensure comprehensive and compliant responses. Coordinates, attends and contributes to marketing meetings with respective teams. Compiles and distributes marketing reports and documents to internal clients and respective teams. Produces and distributes effective promotional and collateral marketing materials. Creates and maintains inventory of photo work, graphics, archive files and sample files. Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, and reserves and prepares facilities. Arranges and coordinates travel itineraries and reservations on behalf of department employees. Orders and receives office supplies, and arranges for office equipment maintenance in accordance with office budget. Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records. Utilizes safe work practices and follows directives, policies and procedures for assisting and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. Establishes and maintains effective and professional relationships with internal clients consistent with company values. Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience Actively seeking a degree in marketing or related field. Minimum 2 years position related work experience in marketing, preferably in the architecture, engineering and construction management industry or related field. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of graphic design principles. Effective computer skills including proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project required, and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat desktop publishing software and Deltek Vision database management software preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, initiative, communication and teamwork. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general office environment. Extended work hours may be required to meet deadlines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
