  • Responsibilities

    TracFone is seeking an individual who will be responsible for developing, launching and managing customer migration efforts across carriers, handset technologies and brands. This position is also responsible for leading the digital development, business decision making, and implementation of new migration products, programs, campaigns, and capabilities to drive retention across TracFone’s portfolio of brands by being the “Product Owner” of the Agile migration team, and will be expected to lead a diverse team, mentor that team, initiate best practices, and communicate results and recommendations working with business leaders across the broader internal and external organization including Marketing, IT, Ops, BI, and several agency partners. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    LEAD AND COORDINATE INTER BRAND LIFECYCLE MIGRATION EFFORTS:

     

    • Develop retention, informational and promotional programs and strategies to migrate customers from one brand/carrier/technology to the other. Lead all CR’s and projects regarding customer migrations. Support planning and development strategies and initiatives for Business Managers whose brand is participating in the migration. Establish the Inter Brand Migration Lifecycle strategy such as defining appropriate moment in customer lifecycles within brand to migrate to another brand. Work with outside agencies and internal departments to develop marketing communications related to migration initiatives. Lead and collaborate with other departments to guarantee on time implementation of communications with our customer base. Key areas to focus on are increasing the successful percent of customers migrating as per Management objectives as well as meeting migration deadlines.

     

    BUSINESS PRODUCT OWNER LEADERSHIP:

     

    • Responsible for driving and executing the strategic marketing direction, business value creation, long term product vision, for the migration efforts.
    • Prioritizes the feature requirements and user stories developed into an Agile backlog; managing the product requirements throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

     

    CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAM LEADERSHIP:

     

    • Communicates frequently with C Level and Executive management
    • Attends and leads daily team meetings to help drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks for the Agile team
    • Supports multiple cross-functional teams/development studios to ensure a solid understanding of the defined scope
    • Communicates changes in strategic direction or priority shifts to cross-functional teams
    • Provides frequent communication to the business leadership on the development progress, escalating any issues that could impact the budget, timeline, or strategic vision.
    • Working with the business leadership, this position collaborates with organizations across TracFone Wireless (Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.) to build and manage scope expectations and timelines.
    • Collaborates across the product team to ensure an excellent, seamless customer experience across all touch points.
    • Provides indirect leadership over Business Analysts (full-time/vendor/contractor) assisting with documenting detailed business rules, acceptance criteria and test cases and helps oversee day-to-day development as required.

     

     

    PAGE PLUS RETENTION AND REVENUE: 

     

    • Develop retention, informational and promotional programs to meet customer lifetime revenue goals and to maintain the current customer base. Support planning and development strategies and initiatives to retain customer relationships. Work with outside agencies and internal departments to develop marketing communications related to customer initiatives. Lead and collaborate with other departments to guarantee on time implementation of communications with our customer base. Key areas to focus on are increasing the percent of customers participating in auto refill programs.  Create promotions and programs to increase revenue/sales- develop new products/programs and support each at retail. Create programs and campaigns to encourage additional revenue expenditure. Effectively communicate the value proposition of the product to positively influence customer behavior.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, marketing, management or other related degree. 
    • M.B.A. a plus.
    • 6 to 7 years of experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, communications or retention marketing. 
    • Experience in the development of business plans, pricing models, and other analytical & strategic initiatives

     

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field with 4 years of related engineering experience OR a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer engineering, Computer Science or relevant technical field with 2 years of related engineering experience.
