    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for assisting licensed technicians, supervisors and management with providing outstanding customer service, safety compliance and job assignments safely, on-time and within budget. Assist with warehouse, parts cage and truck stock and tool inventory and maintenance, and assist field technicians on projects and assignments.

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Adhere to LCS policies and procedures through the efficient and effective use of equipment, materials and resources that include but are not limited to:

    Assist with diagnosing issues and or failures in plumbing systems

    Assist with various equipment installations and plumbing repairs

    Document activities to support work performed

    Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and availability of materials

    Perform leak tests and assist with measuring, cutting, threading, bending, reaming, and installing pipe and pipe fittings

    Assist with locating and marking positions of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures

    Maintain and properly clean and stock service vehicle

    Participate in weekly safety meetings and periodic inventory and truck inspections

    Operate and maintain drain cleaning equipment safely

    Perform other duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

    Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade

    Certificates, Licenses:

    Current Apprentice License

    Current Drain cleaning certification

    Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) is a plus

    Current Texas driver's license with clean driving record

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical requirements for this job are diverse and will vary significantly from day to day. The incumbent may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, work from high elevations and endure extreme environmental conditions.

    Special Requirements:

    2+ years Commercial Service experience preferred

    Ability to read blueprints is a plus

    Successful passing of drug screen and background check

    Clean driving record required

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Must be able to work extended hours, nights and weekends

    Ability to stand, walk and climb ladders and stairs

    Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl

    Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception

    WORK HOURS:

    Generally an 8 hour workday which may begin at 7:00 or 8:00 am and ends approximately 4:00 or 5:00 pm. Nights, weekends and on-call rotations are required. Overtime as required in order to complete all assigned tasks of this position.

    SUPERVISION:

    None

    COMPENSATION:

    This is a full-time non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime.
