The Headquarters Personnel Services Division (AFRL/DSP) is looking to fill a Lead Management Analyst role with somebody passionate about AFRL's Human Capital goals, the championing of new ways of doing business, and leading a dynamic team. The Lead Management Analyst serves as a critical member of the AFRL/DSP team in ensuring consistency of processes, providing upskilling opportunities for Human Resources Advisors (HRAs), and helping to identify areas where barriers can be removed to provide unparalleled support to the HQ organizations and AFRL's Front Office. The key responsibilities of the position include:
- Team Leadership & Training: Guide and train HRAs in HR policies, process guidance, and systems. Fosters team consensus and balance workloads effectively.
- Project Management: Communicate assignments, projects, and deadlines clearly to the team. Monitor progress and ensure adherence to guidelines using Quality Control reports.
- Advisory Role: Provide expert advisory services to the HQ Senior Leadership team (Directors, AFRL/CA, AFRL/CD, etc.) on civilian personnel issues across a wide range of professional, scientific, administrative, and technical positions. Identify creative solutions to complex HR challenges and assist HRAs in implementation.
- Research & Guidance: Research and interpret current HR regulations, policies, and practices and advise supervisors on how to best meet their organizational needs, impacts of various courses of action, and ensure that the team is leveraging the most current guidance.
- Innovative Approaches: Synthesize team experiences and develop and implement new approaches to enhance the HR process and team performance. Stays up to date on current digital transformation efforts and recommends and implements process changes.

Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must meet the 0343 occupational series requirements: Management and Program Analysis Series 0343 (opm.gov)
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov
- Must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal pay systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with digitally transforming HR processes and implementing those in a HQ environment
- Experience with Lab Demo flexibilities and applying unique approaches to fulfill management requirements
- Experience working with AFRL's Senior Leadership team
